How to deactivate an instagram account

You must be wondering why you don't have a deactivate option even though you went through all the settings. Instagram is mostly based on the mobile app and not much you can do with your PC. • First you have to log into your instagram account from your PC
• Go to your profile
• Edit profile 
• Scroll down to the bottom
• Click on "Temporary disable my account'
• Select a reason why do you wanna deactive
• Enter your password
• Click "Temporary Disable"

Now your instagram account is disabled. This is not permanent. You can log in back and have your data saved. But disabling is just as same as deleted account.
